Portland should be quarantined.
Awful cold, day 4. Rob and I took a field trip to Fred Meyers for supplies. I have never seen more sick people in one place. Lots of coughing, babies with runny noses, displays selling soup. Apparently all of Portland is sick, has been sick in the last week, or will be getting sick shortly. This might be a slight exaggeration, since I was kind of delirious. Still, sucks to be us, huh Portland?

1 stalk lemongrass, outermost leaves and ends removed, minced
3 cloves garlic, chopped
2-3 tsp chili paste
2 shallots, chopped
1 Tbsp ground coriander
2 tsp ground cumin
2 Tbsp fish sauce
1 tsp shrimp paste (smells like fish sauce, but so SO much worse)
1 tsp white sugar
1 thumb sized piece of ginger, peeled and chopped
juice from half a lime
